They will definitely release PLU. But not until after CMB is done slaying worldwide.
The Country song will just be for Country, I don't see them trying to get it to cross over. So, sometime in Feb-March will probably be when PLU gets released. Then HOPEFULLY we get a brand new album for Fall 2013 but I kind of doubt that. I'm expecting Summer-Fall 2014.
Why not? If it does not well and it's super well-received by the public, it has every chance to cross over. Rmb DYWS? DYWS peaked in the lower 40s on pop but with kelly's name on it make it a hit on both hot ac and ac charts!
Don't even joke! The song has so much potential and is just screaming HIT (with Kelly's flawless vocals, of course). They already wasted You Love Me, Alone, Let Me Down, I would kill them all if they wasted People Like Us as well.
+ I think it's really wierd when someone releases a Greatest Hits album with some new tracks and doesn't release them. It's like "Here are my greatest hits and an another song". It's just wierd.
+ I guess we won't get Kelly's new album soon so they should release it just for keeping the public aware of the Queen. People Like Us has a chance to become Kelly's another monster hit like Stronger and Since U Been Gone.
Of Course i know that!!! This is RCA we are talking about, look at pink's GH for the example. Both RYG and FP were smash hits on pop and yet they did not release Heartbreak down in the end. The song may end up being a moderate hit coming off from fp. Now i'm not saying PLU not gonna smash(i just listened to the demo and it really sounds like a hit), but this is GH, not a brand new album! Furthermore, Rca has done everything right so far! Releasing cmb to pop and a few weeks later for her to perform and relasing a country song will definitely keep the country public interested.
This is horrible, but I hope Kelly drops a pound or 2 before her CMA/AMA/CMB promo performances. The last thing we need is any kind of weight story to over shadow her flawless performances and flawless new music.

I sincerely hope she kept those lines in. It's kinda bad ass but I can see her taking out the second to last line cuz it's not PG enough.

I love the intro. It gives me chills when I read the lyrics.

Last night something seemed a little off with Kelly. A few of us in front row picked up on it and talked about it after the show but it was hard to explain so I didn't post it here as I didn't want anyone to worry. Kelly wasn't as chatty and bubbly and wasn't as smiley, and at times she put a lot of strength into some of the harder/sadder lyrics. Comparing it to the 2 shows I'd seen previously, something was definitely off with Kelly. Jill and Kate left right after the show and talked to everyone and then got on the bus by themselves and the rest of the band and Kelly didn't join them. And we stayed until gone midnight and still nothing but Jill and Kate. Now, Jill and Kate have just announced they're leaving Kelly's band. Now it all freaking makes sense.
Hope Kelly's not too upset by this. I know she loves her touring family so much.
