Van Halen: 1d are Dickheads and is a ****** Boy Band

Wolfgang Van Halen, son of guitarist Eddie Van Halen, apparently had a run in with the famous five in a hotel lobby in Birmingham, and didn't leave too impressed.
He tweeted: "Fun fact: Was just insulted by that s**tty boy band #OneDirection in the lobby of our hotel this morning! Greetings Birmingham!”
The bassist of the famous eighties band added: “No joke. That ACTUALLY happened. That group of kids in #OneDirection were d**kheads to @iierockii @gwdrums and I.”
And then came the kicker: "They must call themselves that because all of their hair points in #OneDirection".
No word yet on what the 1D boys had to say for themselves.
They probably didn't recognize him, god knows most pop listeners wouldn't know who they were if they walked down the street

I can't see the boys saying or doing anything outwardly obnoxious or rude for no reason. They probably just got a bad vibe cause 1D weren't stoked to meet them or something. You know how classic rock people are about pop anyway they always do the most.
What did they do though? What are details of this so called "insult"?
I doubt it was a direct insult. Maybe it was something that hurt their ego otherwise I think he would've posted the insult rather than just "they were dickheads to us".
