Completely agree.
But since it's a a bit of "chorus less" (in the sense the typical Maroon 5 song has a hook&chorus that you just instantly want to sing) people are more polarized about it than they should.
I think is by far one of their best songs on Overexposed, and generally that it truly stays well in their discography.
I totally like this more than Moves Like Jagger and also more than Payphone, even though I love Payphone.
It's a well deserved chart topper, but I can get why people are a bit shaken that it got 5 weeks in a row at the top.
Still, radio loves it.
I just saw the AI for the day and it's another + 1600, while Bieber is already decreasing.
Obviously the public loves this song a lot.
And again, all this came without any promo at all, because Maroon 5 were away for two months while it was smashing.
I love that they brought reggae back on the map.
