Trust me I know, I even heard CKB played tons of times. You could never escape any of her other singles but I've been listening to those stations 24/7 and I've yet to hear Diamonds. They've played OG, WFL and S&M alot also heard Umbrella a few times. They did the same thing to RR that they are doing with Diamonds. Played it a couple times the day of release then never played it again. I think it will do better than RR obviously but DC area is a big market for her and they are paying her dust.

I feel like Diamonds is at the stage on Top 40 where they're either going to leave it be or put it in power rotation. Spin updates for everyone always slow down at this point but it's just a waiting game to see if it peaks or gets the second wind. Unfortunately Diamonds, being the ballad it is, is unlikely to get a huge second wind unless they release that game changing video. It's gonna be out of the top 10 on itunes next week with Taylor; they shoulda released the video to counteract it. I haven't seen Bruno's video but look at his song...the video gave it like 8 spots but it's still out of the top 10 so it means nothing.

At least Top 10 on billboard next week is practically guaranteed.

I'm trying to be optimistic about Diamonds. It has done pretty well to hang onto the iTunes top 10 all this time. But now is the crucial point of it's run digitally and on radio.... It will either trudge around the top 10 or explode with chances of #1.
