Is State of Grace's lead bad?

"Tied for the most solo #1 Digital Songs (6)" - Katy has 6. I was trying to avoid actually saying who she's tied with, but alas.

Can any of you recommend me her songs that may be a bit similiar to Safe & Sound? I got recently hooked on this song, I really like it.
I enjoy her voice, but I generally don't listen to songs about ex-boyfriends, so if she's ever written something not connected to men, I'd really appreciate some recommendation.

Safe & Sound is her best song That song is really unique for her though, not many sound like it.
