I am going to be point blank: there is no such thing as showing your true colors on the Internet. The anonymity of it all prevents there from being anything conscientiously "wrong" with bringing someone down. You don't really know them, nor do you see them everyday, so cyberbullying, in that sense, has a kind of safety net for the one doing the bullying. There are no inhibitions because you are largely detached from the subject. Which also makes it worse, because you're prone to go even harder to get a visible reaction.
My point is that a lot of what you see on here isn't so much people being themselves as it is saying whatever they want through a veil of anonymity.
Just ignore it, be yourself, and don't let anyone get in the way of that. You have good presentation skills, which is why you signed on to do the Monster Awards right?
Anyway, if you do leave, you still have friends here who will talk to you through Twitter or Facebook. Or whatever.
For the record, I'm not siding with anyone here, as it is not my place to get involved. But I'm still here for you, and anyone else
