Anouk to represent the Netherlands @ Eurovision 2013
Such a shame...
It's been decided. Dutch singer Anouk posted a video online this morning confirming she's going to represent the Netherlands at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest.
You might know Anouk. She's been active 1996 and one of Holland's most famous singers.
She even managed to score a few minor European hits.
The song she's going to represent us with isn't known yet. But here are some of her tracks to give you an idea.
sooo.. i'm sure she'll write her own song, of course, or maybe she already had written.. who knows? and if you think that eurovision is dead, yes..
and is not a shame.. maybe then, she'll get a big name in europe.. all that EMI never did for her, like a real promo, she's gonna do with her own facebook page.. that's the real shame.. she'd be famous and have several huge successfull singles in all around europe but the label never worked the promo ...
i've been stanning for her since 1998, when i listened 'nobody's wife', and the one and only spanish website about her has been running from 2001 by me... that's a long hard way to walk alone.. and i think spanish fans deserve to watch anouk finally in the national TV...

It's such a freaking shame she isn't a worldwide known artist. All of her songs have worldwide chart appeal...
no comparission with adele please.. everybody knows that anouk was before adele could even exist on her dad's left ball... they both have a quite similar voice, but anouk's career is longer, and if her label would promote her, then adele maybe would never succeed because that place in music should be for anouk...
and i really love 'don't'.. that's my all-time's fave!! (also nobody's wife.. everything is also a great song.. actually all of them.. i'm a stan)
ahh and she made a collabo with ryan leslie at 'i'm a cliché' ... such emotional song!
if your hate her music why would you trust on her success??

i don't like rihanna and i don't ever expect she could win a cup of tea in a country that wouldn't know who is she actually even if we would be disguised as a homeless... she can't sing for save her life. (it was just an example of real hate)
It might come in handy to take a year off from Eurovision.
