on a serious note though both are a bit too wild for superbowl....like they are not looking for a janet type of controversy, and gaga will of course do something wild and dramatic to make a point while rihaanna...you just never really know what she will or wont do, but GAGA clearly cuz she bit more famous and a MUCH better performer yet rihanna has more and MORE popular songs...but still gagggga

Neither of them have been in the industry for even a decade. Neither of them will be headlining the Superbowl next year. However, 10 years from now, Rihanna will have the longevity and her catalogue of smash hits to back her career so I'll go with her.

And Madonna isn't too risque?

The girl was berated for her explicit sexual images in music videos and she devoted an entire to political commentary on sex. Rihanna isn't even that sexual, really. The only era that was remotely sexual was the Talk That Talk era and the general public wasn't even phased because societal expectations aren't the same as they were several years ago. I mean I understand not letting Rihanna on stage because her career hasn't lasted as long as Bey or Madge but...

Rihanna wont be let on the Superstage not because shes new, and not because shes risque (cause honestly she really isnt). She wont perform at the Superbowl because shes a terrible live performer.

yea but its not like she performed in her prime in the 80s or 90s...they waited until she was too old to be really shocking
