Well, her team allowed her to take a risk.
They obviously wanted it first but allowed her to release SH and SS and faced the backlash.
She's doing the safe choices at the end of the era to make up for the risks.

October is always the perfect time to release a song...it will pick up steam by mid-November right in time to impact holiday sales and will get a sales boost for black friday and december sales and should be in the top 10 airplay by Jan 2013
It should be platinum by the end of the year because of december.

The first few months hardly change so there is longevity until new smashes in Feb/March.

And the fact that Right By My Side did anything AT ALL should be injecting hope into y'all

I have high hopes for this single. I think it's gonna do really well, it'll be hard for it to outperform Starships but I think it's possible. It's better than Starships, without a doubt.
