I know it's an exceptionally old fashioned and ignorant opinion, but I just don't like the look that is men wearing skirts and therefore would rather it didn't happen (other than kilts of course)

There's no rule against it but honestly, I wouldn't want to see guys running around in skirts. It just doesn't look good on them.

Yep. I guess also a reason why skirts are looked at as solely feminine is because they are meant to accentuate the shape and length of the legs, a feminine thing to do.
