Did anyone else realized that in his week's Chart Highlights, Billboard didn't include Country Songs but did include Country Airplay? Are they considering the airplay chart the official chart for the genre still too?

Probably because almost everyone else still considers the Airplay chart the official chart for this genre, except for Bill Werde.

No much like the hot 100 I would assume we still have to wait till Wednesday to know who's #1 on that chart so they can't update it yet but I still consider the airplay chart more legit until they remove crossover airplay from the country songs chart..

The now-changed Hot Country Songs chart comes out on Thursday. They need to wait until Wednesday to gather data and rank the songs.

It's always been like this. They didn't released those charts on Monday because they were the official ones, but because they all were airplay charts. Unfortunately, Hot Country Songs remain the main chart.

Tracking week for Airplay charts end every Monday. The Hot Country/RnB/Latin Songs and other official genre charts will be revealed on Wednesday or Thursday when the tracking for over-all airplay ends on Tuesday 11:59 PM. Billboards mentioned it last week.
