I think I prefer her unpolished. I tend to like artists more in the beginning of their careers - when they're raw and have yet to be taught how to be commercial and appeal to the masses. I hope whatever she learned this time is reflective in album 5 but that it sounds more Taylor and less "Now! 69 ... all songs covered by Taylor Swift". Her choice of mentors has me scratching my head since they're more commercial than anything. It's like Stephen Sondheim deciding one day he could learn a little from Stephen Schwartz.
But let's get real for a moment.
Taylor Swift is more talented than:
1. Everyone she's worked with on this album.
Just listened to Tim McGraw and Superstar and Invisible like 5 times and got so nostalgic...I love all her new songs but does anyone else feel like they're just missing the magic she used to have? I just can't connect to them as much...hopefully there will be some hidden gems on Red closer to Begin Again
Honestly, me too.

Is the competition for best 'Red' cover still on? Here's mine:
Perez Hilton interview. State of Grace and Begin Again are about the beginning and then the end of the same relationship. No other new information but she talks a bit about how she writes songs. http://soundcloud.com/dabewing/perez
I wish she'd stop with the secret messages. It makes it hard to defend her habit of writing about celebrity men.
I know, he has serious psychological problems. And he reports on so much ridiculous gossip - i.e.Taylor cheating on Conor - so I'm surprised Taylor read his entry about IKYWT
