Yeah. Gaga doesn't have any music out right now and Rihanna's power always seems to be bigger than it actually is when she releases a new single.

I'm not 100% on how IFPI works, but doesn't it measure from Jan-Dec of a specific year, not just a 12 month period after the song has been released?

Because if so, then Gaga had a huge head start with her song coming out in Feb while Rihanna's came out in september. We Found Love was still doing strongly going into 2012

I was under the impression that We Found Love outsold Born This Way WW.

The cultural impact that Born This Way left (positive like LGBT and negative like Reductivegate) was far larger than We Found Love ever could've done

The ifpi source is for BTW. I dont remember seein WFL in there.

I know that its closer now but BTW still sold more than WFL.
