Both sides put plants like this at rallies, isn't really surprising. Racism isn't representative of conservatism - remember when Herman Cain was leading the primary polls, or when Clarence Thomas was appointed, or when Lynn Swann won the GOP nomination for governor of Pennsylvania? True conservatives realize that natural rights protect all people, not just people of one race - any conservative who espouses racism is dead-wrong and in contrast to the ideal of liberty.

There's racism on both sides, just look at the horrible twitter posts above or the black woman that was hit with horribly offensive racist and sexist remarks because she endorsed Romney. Just as the crude, disgusting tweets above don't represent the left, racism doesn't represent the right. Both sides have radical fringes and neither are right.

America wasnt ready for a black President. We all (especially young people) thought we were on Election Night 2008, but honestly the bulk of the people werent ready. We still arent over the issue of race in this country. We are getting better but still not 100% there. I hate to say this but I honestly wouldnt be surprised if Obama gets assasinated by some lunatic if he gets a second term. Some people hate his guts that much. He has had more death threats than any other President in our history. Heck, there is even a faction of people that really believe Obama is the Anti-Christ. Its very sad & scary.

There are kids at tons of schools from 2009-present who talk about how they wanna get on airplanes to DC and shoot up Obama. Do I care? No. That's their delusional ass fault.

And you're correct, race is still a huge issue in todays society. The diluted person who posted above you is extremely wrong though. Racism comes primarily from the religious/conservative side of politics.

Racism is on both sides - there are plenty of black supremacist fringe groups such as the Black Panthers and Nation of Islam, as well as plenty of anti-Jewish leftists. Racism is a fringe on both sides. It seems a bit silly to accuse conservatives of racism based off of one shirt, but completely ignore the racist and violent rants coming from the other side (as clearly demonstrated in those twitter posts). I don't care who you are, even joking about assassinating someone is wrong, as is rioting.

And there isn't a religious justification for racism BTW, nor is there a conservative one. Conservatism is based on protecting the natural rights granted by GOD, and God never said any race was better than another.

Black =/= liberal. We never said minorities couldn't be racist as well.

But there is biblical justification for racism. From being entitled to a slave to Cains curse being dark brown skin. Racism has been a deep-seeded conservative/religious value and it's been this way for decades. Common knowledge. Slavery and segregation were both led by religious principles.

Well they better ****ing get ready. You've got to start somewhere. What are we going to wait, mail out census packets prodding with "do you feel comfortable around coloreds?" surveys until majority of America feels "ready" for someone of color to head the the country? Sad that people "aren't ready" for someone of color to make it to the general elections, nonetheless become President - even if that person happened to be half white for crying out loud.

As for the latter, racism is NOT a conservative or religious value; saying it is is both offensive and wrong. If it is 'deep-sated', why would we have even allowed a black person to lead our presidential race? There is racism on BOTH sides, but it is a fringe on both.

As for the curse of Cain, nowhere in the Bible is the curse 'black skin', and slavery is a different animal entirely; but racism is not conservative or religious. Racism goes against religious and conservative values, and men that try to utilize either are liars trying to justify their hate.
