We should get an announcement for the release date of Scream and Shout either sometime this week or early next week at the latest. The video has already been shot so it shouldn't be too far off. The Womanizer MV was shot just a couple of days before the single release date.
And let's try not to hype this single up. It's not like her first single off of Album 8. It's a featured on Will.i.am's album, the king of autotune. Even Jordan said she doesn't have a big part in it. Don't expect much.
It will be a big embarrassment if she actually performs on X Factor bad lip-syncing and bad dancing, it will just ruin her not so good credentials as a judge...
But I will deal and I will be ready to tell the stans of the other girls she slayed
I think "Criminal" missed the eligibility period .. it was released on 29th september I guess.
It was sent to Pop radio on October 4th, and had its digital single release on the same date (in the U.S.), September 29th was in some European countries... Grammys are local, so it's about the U.S.

Grammys aren't local ... Artists from different countries are eligible every year.
anyways ... then
"Criminal" would be also eligible for:
Best pop solo vocal performance
Song of the year
Record of the year
I don't think there's any chances for her as usual ..... she could receive the "Best long form music video" for the Femme Fatale tour if some miracle happens , there's few competition, and some voters want to be nice with Britney and give them some votes .... cuz IMO the tour video doesn't deserve the nomination.

Grammys are local to English-speaking countries, better now? If not local, why is Juno considered the Canadian Grammy? Why is there a Latin Grammy? I could go on.... I could be wrong, but I think only artists with releases in the United States can get a nomination... (I'm not talking about artists born in the U.S.)... I don't give a flying **** though...

Because every country has a local award .... but Grammys are worldwide .... Gotye is from Australia, Adele is from UK, Shakira is from Colombia, Nelly Furtado is from Canada, Rihanna is from Barbados , etc ,etc
and The local awards in the US .. are the American music awards
He's talking about eligibility though... Anyway, these labels waste their time sending multiple obvious not-getting-nominated songs every ****ing year, I hope Jive doesn't waste its time...

All these artists have releases in the United States, Did you read what I wrote?

And, by your standards, the American Music Awards shouldn't be nominating people like Rihanna, Adele, yet, they do. It's not actually about the artist's nationality, but whether they have released in and/or impacted the territory of that award.

Ok.....
Anyways ....
I think if Britney would've show more enthusiasm on the Femme Fatale tour DVD , she could get the nomination for "Best long form music video" . . . but she ruined it

I think not even that would make them look at her... At this point she can only get a Grammy nomination again if she smashes the charts a la Katy Perry, Rihanna, Adele or Gaga...
Or if her label finally learns something from the others and buy her a nod...

I think if she does the things with quality she could get a nod again.
Lets be honest:
her performance on the tour is not her best
Her music videos were good, but more than artistic videos were very commercial videos
Her voice is heavily autotuned
and Her lyrics on her last album were basic
Somehow I can understand why the Grammys are not giving her nominations lately.
