Mandy Moore is looking adorably innocent as ever in this weekend's Parade Magazine. In the interview she promotes her new album Wild Hope out June 19th. She discusses how uninterested she is in putting her life out there like the rest of the tabloid pop tarts. Mandy praises her parents for raising her right and the way she carries herself - we couldn't agree more. She also talks about the perks of being a celebrity, and not having very many friends
On her favorite celebrity perk:
“This is so awful,” she groans. “So terrible,” she says. “But I love roller-coasters and I’m able to cut to the head of the line. It’s horrible of me. People have been waiting in line for an hour, and you put your head down and scoot ahead of them, then sit down real quick! I guess it’s still the kid in me.”
On her friends:
“I don’t really have a ton of friends,” Moore says. “My best friends, my close circle, are mostly in New York, but my brothers live with me here in L.A.—one is younger, one older—and I hang out with them a lot. But I actually like spending time by myself, and it’s not super-odd for me to go [a lot of places] by myself.”

Yeah too bad she will, but i <3 her anyways. Maybe she'll flop with the singles but do good with her album, she's been certified platinum and Gold before, she can do it again.
I love Mandy.I don't care that she isn't doing "mainstream" music now.Lately listening to the radio is like pressing repeat.It all sounds the same.Everything is the same old same old.I like the fact that she is going out of the box, so to speak.Plus,I think "Wild Hope" will be her best album yet lyrically speaking.And more mature.
I love Mandy Moore. She's an amazing role model and she's grounded in her faith. Thats why she keeps making good music, even though her singles don't do very well.
I actually wouldn't be shocked to see her on Christian radio sometime soon...
who cared if she will flop? but trush me, with this SUPER publicity, she wont Flop that HARD at all...i mean she's on the news since last month, but her album is going to be out on June...so long, but great promotions....
