I agree with bea on this one, I definitely see the points where they make it seem that she behaves and does what a MAN thinks she should be like in public, the part about meeting the president and knowing her placed rubbed me wrong.

I dunno but after studying sociology which encompasses feminism in more than several areas it is incredibly unlike Beyoncé and I think she would find this article degrading rather than flattering because she is in her own way an advocate for feminism, the strong independent woman. She doesn't have to be a single mother or anything to be a feminist, it's in the attitude. Needing a husband and having a husband are two different things.

I think the authors attitudes towards women are a bit 1950's and that comes across in the overall tone, I get that some people don't know how to read into it that far...I don't think Bey would appreciate this.

No... it means she knows her role in the grand scheme of LIFE. Some superstars are not aware of the effect they have on the world. She knows the position she is in. She can make change for the better or worse.
