Bit of both. She was locked to do a performance on Nov 4th (pre-recorded before then), but that's changed.

She could be moved to this weekend. It would depend on whether she can be bothered I guess, because the X Factor record guest performances anytime of the day on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.

It's very good for some random person's fan video, which has had zero promotion.

If she just shot a video for Masquerade, it would get millions of views on YouTube via Vevo and her other social channels.

It'll be confirmed sometime early this week. And there are no mid-week shows.

Basically, on Fridays they do a dress rehearsal of Saturday's show, so all the crew are there. If an artist can't film their performance on Saturday or Sunday's shows, they just grab a bunch of fans from London, shove them in the audience seats and film the performance on the Friday, and pretend it's live on a Sunday show.

So Taylor Swift's performance tonight on X Factor UK was pre-recorded on Friday 5th October in-front of her fans, and then they just pretended it was live tonight.

Nicki Minaj was always going to pre-record her performance infront of an audience of Barbz, and have it broadcast on a Sunday show whenever the producers wanted to air it. It could be next weekend, it could be mid-November, it could be December.
