Omg they seriously need to stop.

Dubai you don't even have the money to finish your half-completed projects, let alone start new ones. Not to mention the fact that by the time you finish this and the other attractions currently being built you won't be the 'hot-spot' for tourism any more so you'll be screwed.

The project was planned before the crises, million of dollars were invested in it... Why stop when you can build it...

70% of the projects were and currently are being finished, we are past the crises. Dubai is doing wonderfully

Just next week, Dubai is expecting 1million tourists to invade it lands for the upcoming Eid holidays

This is what happens when you have more money than sense, or taste.

If you decide to make a billion dollar wedding hall, why not hire an original designer and make something new, instead of just super sizing someone else's old idea?

I remember when a historian said that it wasnt possible to build the Great Pyramid of Giza with modern day technology + my friend believed him. OF course you cant build the pyramid with the same things they used because youd have to spend millions and millions of dollars to pay all the people involved with the project + that's pointless anyways. But to say it couldnt be built with today's technology.
