The 'Dark Angels' era that was supposedly meant to be done after GGGB, before the incident that led it into a darker album that we know as 'Rated R'. The whole sound was still dark and edgy but still upbeat, uptempo and slightly 80's influenced as opposed to the ballads on the incident influenced 'Rated R'. Visually, 'Who's That Chick?' - night version. More gothic, but more girly.
Songs record were Sexuality:
and Bubble Pop:
Would you have been here for 'Dark Angels' or are you glad 'Rated R' happened?
'Rated R' is a great album and I love it, but I was here for this.
Do you think 'Dark Angels' could have been on the same level or better? With more commercial success due to the uptempo and mid tempo sound?
I felt I would have stanned for ha and the album.
Will she ever get to doing an era like this or is her dark phase completely gone? Her short hair, (tinted dark blue) would have gone with it perfectly.
Oh, I definitely would've been here for Dark Angels. I'm actually curious as to how it would've been compared to Rated R, music and lyric-wise. Looking from this though, it might've just been a more darker version of GGGB.
Bubble Pop was recorded like around the end of A Girl Like Me.
Sexuality is just a demo that leaked. Rih said in her interviews that she never turns down demos, she records them all..
another song, "Goodbye" was a beautiful demo that leaked but wasn't added to Good Girl Gone Bad. It was either for the Reloaded along with Haitin' On The Club - although that was confirmed for the Reloaded edition.
ALSO
Te Amo leaked a year before Rated R but was still added to the album
DARK ANGELS would be Rated R...so it's just speculation if anything...nothing was ever confirmed.

That's the TRUE TEA.
Okay, I know this but it seems this would have been the likely route minus the ballads and sad songs. Would you have been here for it, yes or no?
I remember all the talk about this era back in the days.
The Internet was wild with this Dark Angels thing, I used to see it everywhere.
There was tons of demos too! I would have been here for it tbh
