My mom e-mailed this to me today, and it is really freaking me out...I think it may be 'linked' to Virginia Tech in the fact that some things going on at our school are to raise money for VA Tech people and stuff, and this person who did this must have found that Asian's shootings as 'role model' behavior...

No, this note was actually found at my school, not over e-mail. This e-mail was sent by the Superintendent of our county and our school principal. I don't think they would make it fake.

This happens alot but most of the times you don't find out, the school pretty much hides that info from us to avoid people to freak out

Before I went home last week on Thursday apparently there was some sort of "small/unmentioned" threat against the Auraria Campus here in Denver. It went unreported in the Denver & school press, but I was kind of paranoid while walking out to my car because I saw several policeman walking together and a few more standing + looking around. I didn't give in, because I expected it to be a hoax. In most of my opinion, people are using Virginia Tech to this kind of horrid "advantage."

I don't think you have much to worry about, but if you're freaked out, stay home.
Personally, I've stayed in school after learning about threats against my past schools. I went back to class on 9/11/01 after my Junior high school recieved a bomb threat.

There's always threats right after a major school shooting event, i guess some kids want their schools to make national news too, cause it always happens. but you rarely seem to hear about copycat incidents in between the events
