There are many artists who are signed to record labels and sell less records than Christina Aguilera I mean, even if it flopped, Bionic sold more than 500k WW. That's not bad considering albums are not selling anymore.
Plus Burlesque was a moderately successful movie, the soundtrack sales are very good.
What are you not comprehending? Her voice has gotten substantially weaker since she first debuted and will continue to decline, just like every other artist's voice. I'm not saying she has a bad voice--far from it actually--but she's aging and her voice is as well.
didn't Mariah carey have two flops in a row before the Emancipation of MiMi. If ATRL was around back then you would have said she was a flop and she was over. People are too quick to scream flop. Damn their are other songs on the record that may be smashes. Hell she hasn't even done any promo for Your Body yet
