what was your first impression of your favorite musician?
I remember my little brother saying this rapper was really bad (as in hot) I was like who? he said her name was Nicki Minaj and i laughed at the name. I was like she can't be badder than Trina. and he said yes she was, that she had a thick ass and she was light skinned. I didn't pay it much mind
Later I heard I get Crazy. I was like damn, Lil Mamma got BARZ. heard it a few more times then I heard the DJ say that was Nicki Minaj and I was like oh damn, I better look her up. been in love ever since.

I'm from the same neighborhood as her, so I knew of her pretty early on. I thought she was pretty, it's usually the pretty ones that can't rap but I gave her a chance.
