And Eminem had his last #1 in 2010, Britney hasn't had one since 2008.
So can people just STOP with all this "Eminem isn't famous outside the US" crap. He's probably the most successful artist of the century in Europe behind Shakira.

I have to clarify one thing. Eminem is not really the most successful act of the 2000s in Europe. And I don't know if by successful you meant best-selling. On one way or another, Robbie Williams was Europe's top-selling act last decade (2000-2009) by far. He's in another league in that continent.
Anyway, I somewhat agree with you. Eminem seems bigger in Europe than Britney. And in the USA as well (Billboard's Artist of the Decade).
Regarding the thread's subject... I have no idea. It's hard for me to compare artists from different music genres.
