The Boys IS a really good song. The melody flows different, the chorus is catchy, the verses got me bopping. Don't pay it dust just because it's flopping hard.

It's not a bad song, and obviously it was well reviewed, it's just not strong enough to be a lead single.

Anyways, The Boys is crossover, though a bit different, so maybe she has a few pop-friendly tracks on the album?

It's so confusing. The current international single is Va Va Voom, and December's is Marilyn Monroe. Will any singles from The Re-Up be U.S. only? Or are they all urban-only? The Boys is more pop than hip-hop, so like it should be a mainstream single, no? Arghhh, confusion.

But in all seriousness, I really like "The Boys" for what it is. It just is in no way a notable or memorable single. I do bump it in my car bc I especially love Cassie's part (which, of course, is not new remotely, nor is a good part of this song for people who followed Cassie's leaks), but I'm basically not treating this Re-Up project as anything serious.

The Boys is one of her best songs to date it mixes pop and hip-hop it's also one of her most critically acclaimed singles from this era, the urban audience loves it, y'all say y'all wanted hip hop nicki and that's what she gave. Stop Complaining!!!!!!!
