Now my fear is that if CMB fails we'll never get another happy song.

I hope it won't fail. Though, there's been no indication that they shot/are going to shoot a video for it..the earliest they'd do it is after the 20th when the tour ends and then we're at least 3-4 weeks out from having the video from there That's like, 5 weeks. Maybe their plan is to let the song grow on radio, premiere the video the night before the AMA's, then have her perform on the AMA's and since the GH is released the following day, it could be a good strategy. It'll definitely get her name out there a lot for that week.
