Nicki revived female rap completely. Before Nicki rose to prominence the only thing a female rapper had done that mattered was before then was when Missy won her Grammy(s) for Lose Control. Azealia & Iggy have potential to be concrete alternatives to Nicki and that's it, I dont see either being more relevant than Nicki at all...I honestly dont even see Nicki doing anymore dance pop or cutesy pop tracks anymore. I think it was a one-album thing.

Azealia's not anything until she has an actual album. I like the girl, but let's not kid ourselves, she's still not big yet. Her fanbase is steadily growing, which is nice, but she hasn't had any sort of breakout moment in the states yet. Esta Noche was the only thing on Fantasea with radio potential, and then that got sunk. I'm waiting for the album material to go into stan overdrive.
