Mmmm, i don't want to say she deserves it but I don't feel bad for her. If you can't take it, don't dish it. She's learned absolutely nothing in a decade except maybe to not get into feuds, but that doesn't mean she's an angel now. People still don't have good things to say about her in the industry. People think she's rude because she's a very guarded person. Her childhood was tragic and she came from a broken household with domestic abuse. She has MAJOR daddy issues since her father abused her and her mother when she was a kid younger than 8 years old. Her mother had to run away with the kids as their lives were in jeopardy.She does a lot of charity work and extremely loyal and good to her staff and close people, but her past made her a very blunt person mistaken for being rude/cruel/arrogant.
also, her talent is really big and a lot of legends has praised her and i think that too made her too confident.

The problem is Xtina literally does not give a single **** about her image, she does what she wants. She never wanted to be a pop princess, she's always just been a fighter/warrior on the sidelines... she WANTS and LOVES to be the underdog. While other people's faves are fighting to be relevant and please their fans, Xtina appreciates her fans but only does what SHE feels she needs to do - really, in the end, she doesn't care if she loses you as a fan because she decided to be the dirtiest of skanks, a 20s pinup, a robot, fat or skinny - she really doesn't think your opinion is important. I think the general public is rubbed the wrong way by this... other artists have conveyed a sense of need to their fans, they make sure they make a connection with their fans, they're continually reaching out and sucking as much dick as possible (in short). Xtina says she needs her fans, but lets be honest... she could have a fanbase of 5 or 50 million and she'd do the same thing (provided that the label would let her). Consider, she barely did any promo for Bionic, and she's already making it clear that she will barely do promo for Lotus.. simpletons say she's flopping because of low sales. She's laughing her ass off because she can do basically nothing and still make more than enough money to live in absolute luxury. She doesn't fight for sales like other artists do, she won't kill herself on a tour if she doesn't have to, she won't even do promo if she doesn't feel like it. RCA will never drop her. She's actually a goldmine compared to other artists, very little money or effort is (currently) required to keep her brand alive compared to the others.

This is why I'm an Xtina fan. I only wish I could be so fierce, independent and dominant. That's why she gets such severe backlash... we don't like the high and mighty. We're pissed she's unbothered and nothing we say gets her to break down. We don't like it when people have it easy. She wants to be herself and do her job, she doesn't feel the need to grovel by other people's feet. She wants to and will continue to be guarded. It doesn't matter how much charity work she does under the radar, or how many people she actually moves, the media will ALWAYS hate her unrelenting confidence. Bitchy or not, she's a queen... and there wouldn't be many artists who could manage to be successful with her attitude .

I mean, I'm all for artists doing what they feel they should do but you're making it seem like Christina gets paid zillions for doing absolutely nothing because she doesn't want to do anything. Am I reading that right? She has a PR team, correct? do you think that if she didn't, that she would still have accepted that gig on 'The Voice' or she would've turned it down if she didn't feel like doing it?

Nono, I'm saying she only does what she wants to do - not that she doesn't want to do anything. She enjoys doing pop music, she enjoys working on the voice, she does promo... but it has to be ALL on *her* own terms. When she started out, she was worked to the bone and the label was calling the shots. Of course she racked in huge amounts of money and sales at that time, but she's quite vocal about never going back to that life. I'm trying to say that she only does what she feels like doing, and that sales are the last thing on her mind. You'll never see her drop album prices to 99cents to push up sales. People don't recognize how high of a profit margin she has for a label - and she does this all by being genuine to who she is and what she believes in, no tours she doesn't believe in, no generic, fake albums she doesn't believe in, no tv gigs just for promo [because really - across 3 seasons Xtina has promoted her own music ONCE; an artist using it as a platform for promo would abuse TV shows]. I think that she's got a highly respectable, impressive, genuine attitude - not that she doesn't WANT to do things. Sorry for being unclear!!!

Edit: Sorry about forgetting the first line. She's been in the game for 10 years, Max Martin has always been an option. She said so in an interview... she said that only now have they found a way to speak to each other without deviating from their own personal brands. She still maintains her integrity on that track - she's not going to stop using her voice the way she wants to do be safer for radio, consider that.
