I am catholic and have been that way since I was born.
A friend of mine asked me if I'd like to come to the church he goes to which is a Christian church.
I like it a lot and I'm thinking about converting.
So I'd like some feedback from you guys.
What do you think about the catholic church vs. the christian church?
I love God and I know he died for me.
IMO, the catholic church is more strict where as the christian
church is all about worshiping and praising God.
What do you think?

Um...if you were born that way, why change it? It's how you were brought up. And really the whole point of religion is, what you believe? I'm a Christian and always will be. But some of the viewpoints in the Christian ways I don't believe. Like the gay crap. It's absurd and makes no sense at all, and I will never believe in that. I believe in what I believe in. I look at both sides of stories and use common logical sense.

So...really, what do you want? I say you should just stick with Catholicism since you were born with it. But that doesn't mean you have to agree with EVERYTHING that is in that religion. Religion is only out there for us humans to discuss. There is only ONE god, so why is there millions upon trillions religions . I think it's just out there for to talk about. Life would be boring as hell if we had no religion at all.

Live life to the fullest. Our whole point of life is to find out from wrong and right and learn from our mistakes. I said enough, I don't want to get into this topic...it just sickens me sometimes (just kidding).

The Catholic Church is not strict. Look up other religions and you will see what strict really is.

You should convert... but not if somebody else tells you to do it (like i did... lol), it's a decision you have to make for your own

I'm catholic, because family is catholic that's the only reason.

You're not "born" Catholic, it's what your parents make of you after your birth. Eventually when you can think for yourself, you can choose the religion you feel most comfortable with, or which seems most logical to you.
