I was born in Sweden. So a very gay friendly place. But i grew up in and currently live in London, and esp the part i live in now is a bit homophobic. Like i have not seen many gays here if any at all. My parents are from Sri Lanka and yes it is quite homophobic
No. Bulgarian people are mostly homophobes. I have not seen many gay people either.

The US is too diverse to categorize it as absolutely homophobic or absolutely gay friendly but my state NY is for the gays Same sex marriage is legal here
the UK is pretty gay friendly especially in comparison to other countries. the majority of people here seem to either embrace homosexuality or generally just accept it. strong homophobes tend not to be as outspoken about it as other countries and a homophobic attitude is generally frowned upon by society here
