I was just searching on Amazon for a few J-pop artist's CDs and I have a question.
Why are some of the albums between £50-£90 ? Does anyone know why they are so expensive or is this just on Amazon. I don't know where else to purchase anything.

Don't buy from Amazon they rip you off like crazy.
Go to either CDJapan or YesAsia. Also if you don't care about which country the album was pressed in you can get pretty much exactly the same album in Hong Kong/Korean press for half the price and yes it's legit.
You should've used the J-Pop thread to ask this But it's probably on page 3 so whatever
Anyways it's not just Amazon J-Pop is just expensive. YesAsia is the best site they pretty much will have anything your looking for.
Other alternatives are CdJapan and ebay sellers. But your most likely gonna pay a pretty penny either way just the way it is The HongKong/Korea version thing is a must if its available.
1) Buy CDJapan and nowhere else
2) Import prices, that's just the way it is. If you go on YesAsia and look for Hong Kong, Taiwan or Korean editions of the albums they'll be significantly cheaper
