And for the record, Muslims worship the same God Christians do. "Allah" is not a different God, just a direct translation of the word in Arabic.

um child, you're deluded. Islam's "Allah" is very different from that of the other Abrahamic religions. Islam is the only religion that believes Abraham's son Ishmael was chosen by God to be the chosen one. that's where they differ MAJORLY. Islam just came in and hijacked Judaism's Idea and made it their own.
Christianity is fulfillment of the prophecy. In the New Testament God's greatest command is to LOVE one another. not chop off people's head. get it straight please.

Something happened and I'm sure that deals happened between Al-qaeda and other countries.
@TN05, I'll reply back tomorrow, it's almost four AM here and that's a lot of talk.

There's no need to reply, I'm not in the mood to debate pseudoscience on a music forum. I have other, better things to do than argue with people who aren't willing to change their views when the evidence is not in their favor. I know what happened, and while the truth is certainly uncomfortable to some people, but what happened is easily explained by Occam's razor and Hanlon's razor. The attack was a terrorist attack by 19 Muslim radicals that killed 3,000 people (including Muslims, BTW) and happened due to the stupidy of US airplane security measures (or more accurately, the lack thereof). We weren't handled to defend such an attack and they exploited it. The aftermath was just as dumb, with the US attacking Afghanistan (who had nothing to do with the attack, although we did depose a dictator) and then Iraq (even though the hijackers were Saudi). If this was a conspiracy, it was so sloppily planned that it didn't actually work at all for any real goal. Bush's ratings tanked, as did the administration.
And that summary is backed up by facts and studies. If you don't want to accept that, fine, but hiding from the truth doesn't help anyone.

It's common knowledge Osama admitted to plotting the 9/11 attacks.
And even if he denied it, you said it yourself:

I mean they're extremists, do you expect them to be open-minded or..?

Thank you.
And I just want people to know that the religion itself is not evil at all.

However, it seems like Muslim extremists are the worst. They insult America frequently, and no one cares, yet they start holding anti-America riots after one stupid movie.

People insult Americans EVERYWHERE and there must be a reason for that. You guys are quite hypocritical because you have killed (directly and indirectly) people in the whole world.
The CIA and the American government put a dictatorship in my country and thousands were killed. The USA is not an innocent country. In fact the ONLY country that has been cruel enough to use nuclear weapons is the USA.

He did, but after some time.
I'll do some research about it tomorrow and also reply.
It's most likely that Al-Qaeda did not do it.

right? every religion is made fun of now a days.
to say that their Islam preaches the same thing as other Abrahamic religions is absurd. Turn the other cheek and cut of their head are very very different.

But you're being hypocritical right now by saying the American public are to blame for the actions of our government. You're acting like we VOTED to "dictatorship in your country and killed thousands".

To all those haters
Educate yourself please.
"Allah only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion - [forbids] that you make allies of them. And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers." [Qur'an 60:9]
The Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, said that I will be the opponent on the Day of Judgment against anyone (Muslim) who harms a non-Muslim subject.
So, discard all false claims against Islam and learn about true teachings of Islam from its pure, everlasting, miraculous resource Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.
"Fight in the cause of Allah (God) those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loveth not transgressors. (The Noble Quran, 2:190)"
"But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in God: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things). (The Noble Quran, 8:61)"
"If thou dost stretch thy hand against me, to slay me, it is not for me to stretch my hand against thee to slay thee: for I do fear God, the cherisher of the worlds. (The Noble Quran, 5:28)"
"Allah does not forbid you from showing kindness and dealing justly with those who have not fought you about religion and have not driven you out of your homes. Allah loves just dealers. (The Noble Quran, 60:8)"
"And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for God. But if they desist, then let there be no hostility except against wrongdoers. (The Noble Quran 2:193)"
"Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy handhold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things. (The Noble Quran, 2:256)"
"Again and again will those who disbelieve, wish that they had bowed (to God's will) in Islam. Leave them alone, to enjoy (the good things of this life) and to please themselves: let (false) hope amuse them: soon will knowledge (undeceive them). (The Noble Quran, 15:2-3)"
"Say, 'The truth is from your Lord': Let him who will believe, and let him who will, reject (it):......(The Noble Quran, 18:29)"
"If it had been thy Lord's will, they would all have believed,- all who are on earth! wilt thou then COMPEL mankind, against their will, to believe! (The Noble Quran, 10:99)"
"Say: 'Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger: but if ye turn away, he is only responsible for the duty placed on him and ye for that placed on you. If ye obey him, ye shall be on right guidance. The Messenger's duty is only to preach the clear (Message). (The Noble Quran, 24:54)"
"Say : O ye that reject Faith! I worship not that which ye worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. To you be your Way, and to me mine. (The Noble Quran, 109:1-6)"
Allah Almighty loves those who restrain anger: "Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men; for Allah loves those who do good. (The Noble Quran, 3:134)"
Noble Verse 42:40 "The recompense for an injury is an injury equal thereto (in degree): but if a person forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from Allah: for (Allah) Loveth not those who do wrong."
The so-called "Jihad" Noble Verses came for specific times and places. They don't apply for all times and everybody! I can't slay you, a non-Muslim, just because you're not a Muslim. The pagan Arabs were very hostile people and only knew the sword as an answer. Many wars were imposed upon the Muslims, and thus, it is only normal and natural to find Noble Verses that deal with these specific hostile situations. But the Ultimate and Overall Message of the Noble Quran is PEACE, as clearly proven in the Noble Verses above.
Next time, you will need to do a thorough search about any religion instead of defending a bunch of haters, perverts who do their best to spread lies for their own purposes.

Any extremists regardless of religion frighten/disgust me. It's just that the majority of the religious extremists we are made aware of are Muslim. However, not all Muslims act/think that way and it's sad to see them all grouped together as a whole.

Um GIRL, can you read? I said Muslims worship the same GOD that Christians do aka God Almighty aka Big Daddy aka Christianity and Islam are both monotheistic religions, they believe in ONE higher being aka ONE God aka Muslims worship the SAME God but deny (Jesus) Christ is/part of him. That is the biggest difference

It is really sad how many moderates are repressed or killed because they disagree with the regimes, not to mention the members of other faiths... Only 5% of Muslims (around 50 million out of 1.6 billion) believe in offensive, justifiable jihad and they are the ones in charge, not the 90% who don't support it. The radicals have a superior network of radical imams and clerics and the moderates simply can't represent what they believe over that. Until the moderates rise up and seize power, unfortunately, radicalism will be promoted and encouraged.

Mariah, can you not read or understand your own typing? If they don't believe in Jesus, it clearly ISN'T the same God. They may believe in ONE god, but that doesn't make it the SAME god. get it together get it together get your **** together, cause it's not working out.
What sets Christianity apart is the fact we believe that Jesus is Christ.

GYAL bye. If 50 million Muslims were radicals we'd be long gone.
More like .0005% of Muslims are radicals.
