Taylor and carrie fans have a friendly rivalry going on
Kelly fans think of carrie as the little sister that started stealing attention away from kelly the moment she won. It's more jealousy than hate.
Carrie is irrelevant to me, I only knew she existed through stanning for Kelly. I used to like maybe 2 of her songs but she never crosses my mind and I never hear about her because she's unknown in the UK.
I don't hold any hate towards her though, i'm just indifferent.
I see a lot of Taylor vs Carrie arguments though, which is more understandable seeing as they're both in the same genre so they are competition.
1. Just because you don't know a lot about Carrie, it does not mean that she is unknown and irrelevant.
2. She sold out the Royal Albert Hall in 90 minutes. SUCH A FLOP.

Historically speaking there's been a very select (ie. not majority, don't get mad) and very vocal cohort of Taylor stans spreading most of the hate. I vividly remember reading death threats towards Carrie on the CMT website some years back Regardless, they're irrelevant and if the Internet's their way of acting tough it screams volumes of their real life persona, and we should all feel sorry for them

As far as my experience is concerned, it's usually the Carrie stans who bring up Taylor first and the taylor stans just defend or answer.
I mean even the TC stans defend Carrie whenever a troll start to deliberately bash Carrie on that Taylor site.. Even in here some Carrie stans vocally bash Taylor whenever there's a chance (see getback and blownaway: these accounts belong to the same person btw hence the permaban; tylerbv, supremegoddess and new117 or whatever his name is occasionally bash Taylor without provocation)

I can't stand Taylor at all, but how often do I bring her up when she's not mentioned?? I don't bash her nearly as often as a lot of other members and I don't often take place in drabness fights since it's pointless. Theyll fight regardless. Don't try to use me as an example where I don't fit.
