Madonna's alleged plans to don a "terror bride" outfit in the music video for her as-yet-unconfirmed next single have been halted by her people out of fear for her safety. Apparently the queen of controversy wanted to wear a traditional Iraqi bridal veil with a U.S. army uniform as a critique of both women's oppression and war
Only the queen to stand against women's opression and war
Although what kind of flop source? There's isn't even going to be a fourth single, that was already confirmed by Guy Oseary
You see it as women's oppression, yet it's a cultural thing done thousands of years ago. Madonna should know that. She had no say what so ever to judge and it's kind of racism tbh

Thanks for explaining to people who dont understand.
If she's going to shade followers of the Islamic faith for what she perceives as oppression against women, then I hope she speaks out about the sexism in Christianity as well.

This is why I brought up my Christianity point. Idg why Christians can't just accept that people are different, we're never going to be 100% homogeneous.
I know a good amount of muslim women who proudly embrace their culture. Hijab, sexism, and all, so let them be. I took Arabic for 4 years in high school and I was an absolute mess as a freshman constantly going on about how many "wrong" things muslims follow/do. I soon learned that, like Madonna, I was being intolerant toward certain religious groups because of what I perceived as unjust, unequal, and unfair.
Yes, Madonna do it. Because you're so edgy. Like that video of "American Life" that was too extreme for U.S.
And look at how that ruined her career in the US. Radio rarely played her because of it, had she never release it. Things would've been different for her.
