I agree with you, it is very hard to explain, globe is convenient because it seems to show more accurate distances, however true shape of the earth is not spherical. As I said before when the right time comes I think we will be fully aware of infinite plain. Antarctica is heavily guarded and not much known about it, unless you completely fall for mainstream fairy tales. There might be no south pole, the earth might be extending endlessly beyond Antarctic "ice wall" However it is very possible that we are somehow dimensionally blocked from entering the infinite earth and therefore experience it only as a globe due to our limited perception.
I don't believe in flat-earth, obviously. But I would be interested to hear an explanation for that. Is it just fog? Because this theory is like saying the entire world is one big room. Ever been in an empty wearhouse? You can see the walls. Why can't we see the edge of the earth from any given point?
