Half? No.

None of her albums are BAD. Music Box is a little slow, but you can get into it if you're in the right mood, and the vocals alone make up for it. Rainbow is... Rainbow. Ditto at Charmbracelet. But the rest of her albums are great. I'm not seeing the crap, Clark.

Honestly, Mariah has my favorite discography, out of any of the pop girls.

I can't defend Rainbow, and I already spoke on Music Box, but Daydream is her best album bar none. Actually, Butterfly is her best album, but when it comes to Daydream v. Butterfly, it just boils down to preference. But Daydream is definitely not bad, and is miles better than Music Box.

K. I'm stretching with half and I've only heard singles.

I have heard Daydream and the Emancipation in full. They are both great. But I've read in so many places that everything by her post-Butterfly and pre-Emancipation is just awful.

I've also read that Music Box isn't great and that neither is anything post-Emancipation.

E=MC2 and Memoirs are great (despite what this rate would tell you.

) Glitter and Charmbracelet are great (again, despite what this rate would tell you.

). Honestly, if you ask me, all her albums are great except for Rainbow (alright) and Music Box (good). But I'm a stan of hers because I love her music so much, so I may be a bit biased.

But definitely listen to her discography.

Straight through, chronologically, is the best.

Oh, and Mariah's two Christmas albums (Merry Christmas and Merry Christmas II You) are both fantastic. They are perfect. She really shines in holiday music.

E=mc^2 is a solid, fun pop album, but that era is so controversial in many ways so let's not go there.

And Merry Christmas II You was a good album at a time when Lambs all over the world had no faith in her.

And she did a pretty good job with it overall.

I remember when she did that ABC(?) special for MCIIY. Her vocals were so great, I remember being so enamored. I thought it was all 100% live at the time too.
