I've seen some of these fanfics on tumblr and I can't at how angsty they make them. They like to put the boys in situations where they die, are depressed or cut themselves and then they all comment how the fic made them cry and how they loved it.
Though I've read (and enjoyed) video game fanfic so I'm not judging but it's still hilarious.
