Honestly, yes. The breakdown years did some irreversible damage to her career. Her image is not nearly as bad as it was then, but she will always be grouped together with Paris and the like. Not that I think she deserves to be thought of that way, but it is what it is.
OMG no! If you really wanna consider it, I think Chris Brown might be (and don't get me started with the whole 'he's R&B' bull, because a majority of his most popular songs today are classified as straight pop).
Britney isnt the most hated. I think people feel the most sorry for her to be honest.
Nicki is the most hated. She just doesnt look, act, or rap like she makes sense.
Britneys never been the most hated in the person. Are you kidding me? If they actually hated her, she would have dropped off the planet years ago during her breakdown.
Shes always been the most fascinating star in the industry, and everyone has always wanted her to pull through, and still continue to do so.
Do you really think after the **** shes gone through in 2007, that if she was actually hated that she wouldn't have gone on to launch a huge era for Circus, including a tour that pulled in huge amount of numbers.
The general public hate people like Christina Aguilera, they're not willing to buy her ****, or give her any attention. The fact shes leaving The Voice is the final nail in her coffin of irrelevancy.
Nobody actually hates Britney. They just don't take her seriously. And why should they.
Madonna is definitely the most hated upon, but her haters have never been able to stop her.
I agree with this. I also think Madonna isng hated. She jyst isnt respected as an artist. After Madonna had been around so long, then she started to receive respect. I would say the most hated pop star was MJ, even before the allegations.
Now it's Chris Brown
Not to mention, people that actually WORK in the industry have nothing but praise for Britney.
Other artists, producers, photographers, etc, etc. They've all said nothing but very amazing things about Britney calling her very humble and sweet. She may not be the most respected artist to the general public, but within the industry, shes very respected for her work ethic.
