The shock factor is mostly a strategy of current pop stars to sell more. Its often well planned and used as a form of self-advertisement, nothing more.

The ignorance in this thread, None of these popstars are rockstars, I do think Gaga and possibly even rihanna lead the lifestyle but thats about it
Out of these K$ and Rihanna rock influences, K$ has the rock persona, she's collaborating with Iggy Pop so we'll see, but those two K$ slightly more though, however I still can't at this thread tho.
