!!!! Don't forget her fast-singing too, songs like jumpin' jumpin', bug-a-boo is hard to sing, and not everyone can sing it like quen b.

Being able to successfuly perform in different genres IS versatility, because if it were that easy everyone would be doing. It has nothing to do with how someone sounds, because their voice is going to ALWAYS be their voice, but slightly adapting what you already have is versatility.

Beyonce is EXTREMELY versatile, and is Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Madonna, and Mariah Carey.
They all mix and match different genres and the production has then adjust.

For example
Beyonce-->Diva-->1+1-->Smash Into You-->Why Don't You Love Me-->I Care-->Party-->Countdown

That is a great flow chart of her versatility and talent to adapt and improve and if THAT isn't versatility, I don't know what you mean
