I just saw some **** online about some bitches arguing whether Kelly or XTina was bigger. It bugs me. What's funny, is that Kelly's THIRD single from Stronger (which many consider a flop) looks like it will stay being a bigger hit than XTina's majorly hyped lead single from Lotus.. sales wise and airplay wise. And people want to even argue that XTina is bigger than Kelly

She was bigger, but that's the past. It's going to be very hard for Christina to recover from Bionic. Kelly has fully recover from My December and is on her way to become one of the most relevant pop artists again.

I want her next era to be as successful as Breakaway era or even more

Expect more along the lines of Stronger, which is still fantastic.

Can "Chapter 1" succes help Stronger sales?

The only way for Kelly to match or surpass Breakaway success is if she goes full country/pop like Taylor Swift.

It's never going to happen because Kelly won't allow it to happen. Stronger, the song, is about as big as it gets these days. Kelly worked hard promoting in the beginning of the era, but as we saw towards the end of it, she wasn't really doing much promo. I think there were probably many opportunities in the US and even overseas where people wanted to book her for events and she probably declined. We already heard her say that she'd do one thing and not another, etc, pick one. She simply has no desire to be that big, so it won't happen.

If she wanted to, she could have done lots and lots of WW promo and it would have resulted in her being more global this era.. she could have done lots more to promote even here and get her name out there, but she doesn't want to. I don't see it ever getting bigger than she was during Stronger. Which is fine with me. I'm happy that she's found a balance of still being able to score big hits while doing some decent promotion and still being able to have a life.

That's the thing I think most people don't get with Kelly. if she really wanted to, I really believe she could be one of the biggest stars in the world. She COULD work with every big name producer out there to guarantee her huge smashes. She COULD pull publicity stunts to garner interest around her. She COULD churn out album after album to never leave the scene even for a second, but she doesn't have that desire. She has total control over how successful she can be. And she's still competitive, even doing almost the bare minimum.

The other girls out there are doing the absolute most, always. And that's why they're so successful. They play the game and play it well. My stan heart is happy knowing that Kelly could obliterate the lessor gorls if she really felt like it, especially since her vocal talent is FAR superior to the others.

What kind of novel did I just write?

I'll be happy as long as she makes good music and she's popular with that.
