People still don't get why he was mad about what Madonna did. If you had a party at your house and someone posted something that suggests people are doing drugs at your party (even if it was joking), wouldn't you get mad? He's "pressed" about nothing. DJ/Producers are some of the most idgaf people on earth.

It's good to know he's not snobby about the EDM domination and he knows this is just a phase in young people's lives.

Drugs and dance/disco have always gone hand in hand going all the way back to Studio 54 days and probably beyond. Some people ONLY listen to this style of music when they are on drugs. Madonna is certainly not the first person to associate drugs with dance music but of course she's MADONNA and he's nothing so what better way to get your name out there (ask Piers Morgan). For better or worse I've never heard anything from this guy beyond 20 sec sound bytes on SongPop. He's so worried about being taken "seriously" yet wants to talk about Madonna, Kat Von Dee, Dave Grohl etc etc.....he's just a typical fame *****. Dime a dozen DJ that got lucky.

Not even in Amsterdam (unfortunatelly) where you can legally smoke pot ONLY in coffee shops and where every advertisement or promotion of soft drugs is prohibited. I think people forget that Madonna is a product of late '70s NYC. She was part of the whole Haring/Basquiat/Warhol crew, and she partied at places like CBGB and Studio 54. To be honest, I'm surprised she didn't use "MDNA" as a concept before now.

And because of her work with people like Pettibone and Orbit, she's also an EDM innovator. She was one of the original club kids, going to gay discos at 16.

DeadMau5 needs to get off her back. Madonna obviously isn't as big a part of that culture as she was, but that doesn't mean she's some outsider pop girl like some of them out now. She's been doing EDM since 1978, so he can just deal.
