unless you're doing something to the point where you physically can't stop yourself from doing it (obsessively) or where the thought of doing something is intrusive in your mind and you can't shake the thought until it's satisfied (compulsively) then you don't have OCD.

This! People may have Obsessive tendencies but that does not mean you have OCD. Everyone says they have it now.
I have had it since I was ten & I lt is certainly not as bad as it used to be but I do still have it. It really used to affect my life so much. It's not just about physically needing to do things, such as touching something a certain amount of times, but the consequences of what will happen if I don't. For example, if I don't touch specific things In a pattern I think something bad will happen and someone in my family will die so I HAVE to do it. There's alot more to it, and many things I do, but I'm really not going into detail, I'm too tired.
