Lol Interscope is just a mess and it is not because of Nicole, will.i.am or Eve.
Anyone think of their mismanagement?
- Lady Gaga's BTW era could have been far more succesful (single wise), with letting doing her thang
- They could have earned money back with releasing Nicole's album, maybe not a high selling album, but hey they atleast would get some money back and Nicole would have a platform for her solo career, I mean in the time they pushed back her album, they pushed her more and more in the studio, studio time and producers also cost a lot, they could have released 4 albums with solo material since 2007, they are the ones who pushed it back.....I mean Keri Hilson and Natalia Kills are also no charttoppers, yet their albums are out.
- Nelly Furtado is another example, underperforming Greatest Hits, and they did nothing to re-brand her again in the market, 2 underperforming singles and an underperforming album
- JoJo is basically in a similair position as Nicole, her project already got like 3 names, 3 different recording sessions, with LOADS of songs. All money wasted on studio time and producers, videos etc.
- will.i.am, I mean he has big names on his album, why does Interscope just not release the song with Britney? a smash waiitng to happen, yet we are still waiting for his album aswell.
- Madonna, MDNA...Do I have to say more? I like the album, but the way that era was handled was not well.
- No Doubt, they don't do horrible, but with the right strategy's, their album and singles could have been big.
Just a few examples, with a good team, they would earn loads of money, yet they don't know how to brand and market their artists.
