So basically, my computer is more than halfway to it's max of storing music or programs on it's memory chip.

I need to start deleting stuff...so sad. I almost 3,000 songs pushing on my iTunes as of right now...It's just music is becoming so popular now.

^Wow, you have more than double than what I have....I have a laptop though, so maybe that's it?

I am thinking about buying an external memory CPU for this laptop, it's filling up fast.

You right click Properties on the C Drive and it shows you a Pie Graph of your memory usage and it also gives numbers too

^How much total do you have? There should be a way to see that...lol.

i download music, put it on my MP3 and then delete it. same with music videos...

According to Apple.com: From the Apple menu, choose About This Mac. If your About This Mac window lists PowerPC G5, then click More Info to open System Profiler.

I think from there you click your hardware memory type (perhaps Serial-ATA?), where you can see Capacity (total) and Available (free).

You have to select something else under the hardware section. There are many options, and I am not quite if Serial-ATA is the one for you. I just know that is one option that has worked for a few, where they scroll down the lower left frame and find "capacity" and "available." Maybe you can try the other options and figure it out? It is always good to be able to keep track of how much memory you are using.
