She only had 4 singles from 21. And who knows when her new album will be released.
Radio is hungry for new Adele music. They even wanted to start playing some non-singles from 21. So I don't see anything wrong with them promoting Adele's new song.
Also there are artists who release like 8 singles per album without a break and album year after year. Adele's new album won't be released for a while.
