Nicki Minaj, your fave isn't cementing herself in any platform with this type of behavior. In all reality, Nicki isn't in the best position, currently, to behave this way and not expect people to disengage. But on topic, no I don't think this will do anything to Mariah's career...which isn't so hot right now. Idol is her chance at reinventing herself.

J-Lo had one of the biggest hits in the world last year (bigger than anything Beyonce has had since 2009), but you'll never see Ja Rule in the charts ever again. His career is actually properly finished (because of 50 Cent).

Nicki is going to have a lot of explaining to do. She needs to re-think her life. I think she should do the noble thing and step down from the show.

I'm surprised so many of y'all care this much. I haven't had much to say on this whole debacle because it's petty. It's funny. It's childish, insignificant and will be completely forgotten about in a few weeks.

I actually find it laughable that they're talking about and approaching this situation as if this Nicki vs. Kim or Trina vs. Foxy. What they are failing to realize is that the only career Nicki has the ability to "destroy" is her own. Mariah's biggest flop sold the same as Nicki's best seller...I mean where is the comparison?
