There's nothing wrong with using writers. It brings in outside perspectives and a different sound. Don't we always complain about how much of Kelly's material contain similar lyrical contents? It is to elevate her status as an artist. All legends have used songwriters. Many of the timeless classics aren't written by the artists themselves. So think again before you claim using song writers are for the untalented or is unneeded.

Keep reaching for that shade edge. I was only pointing facts when you were being pessimistic about the co-writers. I can't help if you think that everything is about Rihanna. Since U Been Gone, Hazel Eyes, Walk Away, Because Of You, Never Again, Stronger and MKIA were all written or co-written by unknown producers/writers at that time, and we all know for a fact that the most horrible written songs can become one of the biggest songs in pop music (ala Call Me Maybe).

If you want to be pessimistic/worried about something then it should be about the producer. The producer is the one that can make a song a huge hit, not the writer (for the most part).
