This is NOT shade, and NOT a flamebait thread, let's make this clear. We know that Beyonce is a flawless singer, but the question is: can she do genres (other than Pop/R&B) justice? I say yes. I mean, look at this performance, a cover of a rock song:

She easily could be if she wanted to, but she doesn't. She completely owns that Alanis song. And I'd love to see her doing something like that in the future, but I'm guessing she won't.
To be fair, the Sex On Fire clip isn't all that good of an example. She takes a rock song and makes it a RnB-ish power ballad. That doesn't show that she can do rock music. She probably couldn't pull it off without it seeming unnatural or contrived.
