Nicki was just the wrong choice for an Idol judge. Let's not talk about relevancy because not only does that not matter, but it says more about your consciousness about who's actually relevant on that panel than it does about what you're trying to say.
Also, she's gone through more criticism than Mariah ever has in such a short amount of time, and if nothing else, that's what she brings to the table. Being able to convince these people to muster up the confidence to really express themselves through their music/voices regardless of what anyone might say.
